Steam Clean with Bioesque Carpet Cleaner
First, vacuum the area you want to steam, ridding the area of pebbles, clumps of dirt, and other debris. Next, pre-treat the area with a product formulated for use with steam and extractor machines. Bioesque’s Carpet Cleaner is designed for use with these machines and works well as a pre-treatment. It delivers a deep, eco-friendly clean and deodorizes with a bright lemon-mint scent. Once the area is pre-treated, it’s time for the steam machine. A vapor steamer heats water up to 320 degrees and, along with the bristles on the attached brush, will work the pre-treatment into the fibers to break down dirt and grime and bring it to the surface.
Proper Ratios for Extractor Machines
Now that the area has been thoroughly steamed, an extractor machine will finish the job. Fill the extractor’s holding tank with a solution of cleaner and water. For light cleaning, use a ratio of 2 oz. of Bioesque Carpet Cleaner per gallon of water. For medium jobs, use 3 oz., and for a heavy-duty deep clean, use 4 oz. per gallon of water. Make one pass with the extractor and overlap strokes between 1-2 inches. Allow carpet to dry for approximately 4 hours depending upon temperature, humidity, and airflow.
